The Wreckers record solo projects

Tuesday, January 8, 2008 – After releasing a live project in December, The Wreckers - Michelle Branch and Jessica Harp - are going to put out solo discs.

“They are both recording,” said a Warner Nashville publicist Tuesday. “They are writing songs and recording.”

“Some of the recording will be done in Nashville,” said Brandi Sanford of Warner. Branch also is recording part of her disc in New York.

No release date has been determined. Warner will release both discs.

The Wreckers broke through in 2006 with “Stand Still, Look Pretty.” Last summer, they toured as the opening act for Keith Urban. The December release, “Way Back Home: Live From New York City,” was recorded last July and contains several songs not on “Stand Still, Look Pretty.”
